We listen, act, and transform
Hi, I’m Beth (she/her), a Licensed Master Social Worker with over 12 years of experience in the mental health field. I specialize in trauma-informed, relational therapy for women, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and teens. My goal is to create a supportive, affirming space where you can show up fully—without pressure to rush, reduce, or perform your healing.
Over the years, I’ve worked in a variety of settings, including individual therapy, intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization group therapy in programs, emergency room social work, school-based services, and working with unhoused veterans. These experiences continue to shape my commitment to care that is warm, collaborative, and rooted in both clinical skill and deep respect for each person’s lived experience.
My approach blends evidence-based modalities like Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), with mindfulness-based tools grounded in my training as a registered yoga teacher (RYT-200). I bring a strong social justice lens to the therapy room and am especially passionate about working with queer adults and teens, as well as others working hard to exist within systems that routinely marginalize and dehumanize them. I recognize the ways systemic oppression—whether related to gender, sexuality, race, class, or disability—can shape our mental health in both subtle and profound ways. My work centers the lived realities of navigating these pressures, helping clients unlearn internalized narratives, reconnect with their sense of agency, and move toward lives that feel more whole, authentic, and self-directed.
I’m currently practicing under the supervision of Andrea Washington, LCSW-S.
